Summer Solstice Swing Dance Festival

What’s the best way to spend a weekend in summer? Enjoy a swing dance bash! Hosted and organized by Sugar Swing, the festival has brought dancers together from across Canada and the United States, and combines live music, community, and lots of dancing into one incredible weekend. Our superb, sprung-floor, centrally-located Sugar Swing Ballroom provides the venue, and events are open to people of all ages. At Summer Solstice Swing Dance Festival, we aim to create an amazing experience of swing music and dancing.

Features of the Summer Solstice Swing Dance Festival include: hand-picked, out-of-town musicians, outdoor dances, live music BBQ, late-night eats, exploring Old Strathcona, and dancing till sunrise both nights.
