Please join the members of BLESS (Big Lake Environment Support Society) for their annual event to celebrate migrating birds and their spring stop-off at Big Lake. This will be a fun and informative event for all ages. Exhibits and activities will include bird, plant and wildlife experts, first nations dancers, storyteller and teepee, pond dipping to identify water bugs, fur pelts, crafts, face painting, and a live owl and falcon. There will be picnic tables available, but please bear in mind that the theme of this year’s event is – Protect birds, be the solution to plastic pollution.
