Events Description

In partnership with Evergreen Festival, Halifax Jazz Festival is bringing music to the Halifax Waterfront this holiday season with its Evergreen Stage Series. Over four weekends, November 25th – December 18th, the team at Halifax Jazz Festival has programmed over 40 live performances. This year’s concert series has moved to an exciting new location on the Foundation Wharf, next to the Salt Yard and Halifax Beer Market.

The Evergreen Stage Series is a FREE, family-friendly, and festive event that you don’t want to miss. The outdoor festival experience will bring the Waterfront alive with music, films, food, lights and market vendors. Adding holiday cheer and music to our stage series are both award winning artists and community groups including Slowcoaster, John Gracie Christmas, Zamani, Braden Lam, Owen O’Sound Lee, Choirs for Change, JMC Big Band, NSCC Music Arts Choir and more.

All performances run Friday to Sunday and are FREE to the public. Seating will be on a first come – first served basis or reserve a seat at The BG – Halifax Beer Garden (available Friday & Saturday Evenings only) overlooking the stage.
