Visit with family or friends to experience apple picking in this scenic orchard by the historic Rideau Canal.

Safety Rules

  • Wear a face-mask at check-in and any time you are in close proximity to someone outside your household.
  • Maintain physical distancing.
  • Hand sanitizer, a portable toilet and handwashing station are provided.
  • Follow signs and directions from our staff. Feel free to ask questions – we’re here to help!
  • Parents: please supervise your children to maintain safety and discipline.
  • Don’t climb the apple trees – it poses risks for them and you!
  • Please minimize ‘free snacking on apples’ in the orchard. Remember that farming is our livelihood!
  • Don’t forget sunscreen and a water bottle. The orchard can get pretty hot on sunny fall days.
  • Sanitize your hands when entering and exiting our picnic area and take your waste with you to dispose of at home.

Tickets:

Minimum pre-paid purchase is required for entry to the orchard. One Medium picking bag per 2 adults ($14); the bags are provided.

Up to 4 kids are free up to age 12 when with their parents or grandparents.

The Pick-Your-Own opens on the Monday of Labour Day weekend and runs until about the middle of October, depending on the harvest volumes and weather conditions.

Venue: Waddell Apple Orchard, 1345 Washburn Road, Kingston
Parking is free. If the farm lot is full, overflow parking is available nearby.
