Events Description
In this exclusive private tour for up to 5 guests, you will get close and personal to Champion alpacas as you walk through their paddocks and home. Hand feeding these majestic creatures is an intimate experience that will leave you in awe. Learn everything you ever wanted to know about alpacas such as the sounds they make and why. You will learn about their fabulous fibre and feel the luxury first hand. You will also have a chance to meet our group of Indian Runner Ducks and hand feed our two horses. After you have spent approximately an 1 hour with our beautiful animals we will go into the workshop and feel their fibre and learn how it is processed into yarn. Children always love taking turns at carding their wonderful fibre. You will leave Brae Ridge feeling renewed and full of positivity. It always amazes me how they can turn a stressful time into total relaxation – it’s magical!
