Celebrating Communities at Eldon House

Eldon House Heritage Site will be joining Londoners in “Celebrating Communities: A Celebration of Connection, Kindness, and Culture” on August 2.

Activities that aim to engage and celebrate our diverse community have been prepared to take place both virtually and on-site. Please join us on the lawns of Eldon House between 12:00 to 3:00 PM for an interactive hands-free i-Spy, games on the lawn, and children’s workbooks focusing on the nature around them in the Forest City.

Eldon House is happy to welcome visitors inside the Harris home together with your visitor bubble, to explore one of London’s oldest community spaces.

If you are interested in visiting us virtually, Eldon House will be posting fun facts and activities about the museum along with videos to our social media pages throughout the day focusing on Eldon House as a space for community engagement and conversation.

• Mask or face covering are strongly recommended while on the grounds.
• If you wish to walk around the grounds social distancing measures of 6 feet will be maintained between staff and fellow visitors.
• In order to participate in the event you will be required to answer a few screening questions upon your arrival to ensure the safety of both staff and fellow participants.
• The museum is open from 12:00 – 5:00pm for self-guided tours. one of our Historical Interpreters with ask a few screening questions and require tracing information before entry.
• Please be aware that the event might be postponed depending on pandemic developments.
• This program is rain or shine and a covered or indoor space will be provided in case of rain (subject to change).
