Events Description

The City of London is offering modified summer day camp program this year.

The modified summer camp program follows guidelines and health precautions set out by the Province of Ontario and the Middlesex-London Health Unit, including physical distancing and group size restrictions to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Children will take part in active and quiet games, arts and crafts, nature-based and outdoor activities, when space and weather permit, among smaller camper groups of eight. Each group will be assigned its own space for defined activity periods, with enhanced cleaning and disinfecting in between groups, with camp counsellors staying with the same group of children all week.

The following neighbourhood camps will be available for ages 4-12 and will run in weekly sessions until Friday, September 4:

Camps starting July 13:

  • Argyle Arena
  • Boyle Community Centre
  • Byron Community Centre (FULL – waitlist available)

Additionally, we will continue to offer our Summer Surprise program for youth ages 12-21 with special needs. This camp has very limited spaces and will operate at North London Optimist Community Centre starting Monday, July 20. As in years past, the ratio will be 1:3 and if youth require more support with feeding, changing, and toileting, they must bring their own support staff. This camp will run in weekly sessions until Friday, August 28.
