Events Description

A much-anticipated event at Ben Franklin Place, this annual Alcohol-free New Year’s Eve celebration has attracted thousands of residents from across the city for the past 30 years.

Each year the event is given a theme – past themes include Comic Books and Harry Potter – with this year’s being Winter Wonderland. Attendees are encouraged to dress up and join the cosplay actors who will be onsite. Prizes will be awarded for best costume in multiple categories.

Our mission is to offer an inclusive event for the residents of Ottawa while creating awareness and an opportunity for you to donate to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).

The celebration includes a skating show and party followed by hot chocolate, hotdogs, live music, DJs, a talent show and much more.

Fireworks start at 10 pm.
