Dana Gingras’s choreography is a highly visceral, sensually-charged physical language fueled by a sense of urgency. For her ambitious new work FRONTERA, her legendary spirit of collaboration brings together famed Montreal band Fly Pan Am to create an original score—and play live—and the UK-based United Visual Artists (UVA) whose light-based scenography articulates the dialogue between choreography, architecture and music. Performed by nine of Canada’s foremost dancers, the work rigorously investigates the meaning of progress. Buckle up and prepare to be consumed by an immersive work of pure energy!
