About the host family:
Barrie Hill Farms has been in second generation farmer Morris Gervais’ family since 1968. His parents, Adrien and Evelyn Gervais, grew tobacco until they transitioned into strawberries in 1977 and continued to diversify into the 1980s with blueberries, raspberries, and asparagus. Morris has continued this tradition of diversification and in 2015 an apple orchard was established. Barrie Hill Farms now offers everything from sweet corn to peas to pumpkins to hardy kiwi and much more!
