Events Description
“Breathing Underwater” is the world premier of local writer Jon Payne’s first full length play where three brothers must build a boat to ferry their deceased father’s body to “the other side”, as per his will instructions.
Unfortunately, none of the brothers (Mark, J.T. & Aaron) are particularly adept at boat construction nor do they always get along, as will happen with family members.
What happens when they are faced with limited means, a looming deadline and painful familial revelations? This is the quandry which Breathing Underwater explores with humour, tension and poignancy.
