To celebrate our country’s 150th birthday, the President’s Choice® Canada Day fireworks will lightup Ottawa skies for a spectacular 20-minute 17-second pyromusical fireworks show that includes 15,000 individual fireworks set off around Confederation Boulevard and 50 x 200- to 300-mm calibre aerial shells, including 150 x 50-mm maroons and 150 x 75-mm maroons.

With the show theme “Four Seasons”, this will be the  largest Canada Day firework show ever in the Capital region with Canadian sound track.

The synchronised fireworks show will be launched from 5 different locations:

  • Nepean Point
  • 4 sites along Confederation Boulevard (2 sites in Ottawa and 2 in Gatineau)

Best Viewing Locations:

  • The green space behind the Canadian Museum of History, located at 100 Laurier Street, Gatineau, Quebec.
  • Major’s Hill Park, behind the Fairmont Château Laurier, 1 Rideau Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
