The Canadian Museum of History is definitely the place to be on Canada Day. As one of the National Capital’s official Canada Day sites, the Museum will feature indoor and outdoor activities for visitors of all ages, including games, performances.

Special Anniversary Party for the Canadian History Hall – Join the party and come celebrate with us and explore signature exhibitions, activities, crafts and more. Admission is free!

Tim Hortons Stage will feature Pow Wow Pump (Monica Ethier), Hoop Dancer (James Jones). Fancy Shawl (Angela Gladue), Elberlyn, River Doucette, Silla and Rise, Parliament Hill Noon Show Broadcast, Ben Caplan, Bleu Jeans Bleu, DJ Shub – Electro Pow Wow

Road closures
Roads by Parliament Hill, Major’s Hill Park, Jacques-Cartier Park and the Alexandra Bridge and the road in front of the Canadian Museum of History are closed on Canada Day.
Canada Day shuttle bus

A free shuttle will be running between the Canadian Museum of History (Gatineau) and Major’s Hill Park (Ottawa) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 1.

Gatineau: on Laurier Street South direction, at Elisabeth-Bruyère intersection
