We are pleased to announce that the Ottawa Art Gallery will re-open its doors on Thursday July 9th with revised hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00AM – 6:00PM. Admission is FREE but visitors are required to book a timed visit in advance. The safety of our visitors and staff is our top priority.
Before booking your visit, we ask that you review all new procedures and safety protocols below:
- Front Line Workers will be given priority, pre-opening visitation on Wednesday July 8th
- Seniors will receive first priority booking daily during the 10:00AM and 12:00PM time slots
- Attendance will be limited to 40 people at one time with pre-set, 2-hour visiting periods:
- ADMISSION: OAG is FREE but visitors must book their visits for specified days and times in order to limit building capacity and avoid crowds.
- CHECK-IN: All visitors are asked to register at the Visitor Experience desk, located at 10 Daly Ave.
SAFETY PROTOCOLS:
- During open hours, the building, including washrooms, will be cleaned thoroughly every 30 minutes
- Additional cleaning will take place Mondays and Tuesdays when the Gallery is closed to the public.
- Social distancing measures will be in place while in the building.
- Please wear your mask at all times while visiting the Ottawa Art Gallery. If you do not have a mask, a complimentary one is available for you at our Visitor Experience desk.
- Plexi-glass barriers have been installed at the Visitor Experience desk and the OAG Shop.
- Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the building.
- We advise all visitors and staff who are sick to please stay at home, get tested, or self-isolate.
