Free Admission to Canadian Museum of History

Visit Canadian Museum of History for free this summer.

We look forward to welcoming you back with a variety of outdoor activities, including performances by Indigenous Experiences, and indoor guided tours of the Grand Hall.

The Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday through Sunday. Best of all, general admission will be free throughout the summer. Parking and food services are available at the regular rates. All outdoor activities at the Museum will be offered rain or shine, but may be cancelled in the event of extreme heat or thunderstorms.

To ensure a safe and rewarding experience for all, we are limiting museum access and have implemented several safety measures, including timed online ticketing, mandatory masks inside, social distancing, increased cleaning and more.

Tickets will be required for performances by Indigenous Experiences, and indoor guided tours of the Grand Hall.
