Illumination – Largest Display of Summer Fireworks in the Country

The Casino Lac-Leamy Sound of Light and the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival join to present Illumination, the largest display of summer fireworks in the country!

Experience a unique event in the comfort of your backyard, on your porch or your balcony!

In collaboration with Quebec firm Royal Pyroetechnie, a fifteen-minute pyromusical show will be created under the theme of happiness and hope, integrating a soundtrack specially created for the occasion. The musical arrangement will be available in real time on 94.9 Rouge FM and on the web. A total of 8 sites will be highlighted by the deployment of Illumination, in collaboration with the Ville de Gatineau’s events office.

In order to promote some of the region’s businesses and offer you a gastronomic experience, Festive boxes by Olivia bistro-boutique will be available. In each box, you will find:

• a meal
• appetizers
• cocktails

For each box sold, 5$ will be donated to Moisson Outaouais.

Date: Saturday, August 15, 2020 | 9 PM – 9:15 PM

On the evening of the event, between 8:45 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., 3 practice fires will be launched from the 8 sites to allow you to locate the show and take place in the best possible location.

In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to a later date.

Starting at 8:30 p.m., tune in to Casino Lac-Leamy Sound of Light Facebook page as well as the FMG – Festival de montgolfières de Gatineau, because Illumination will broadcast LIVE!
