With two musical hardworking parents, Louis-Philippe Gingras has always evolved with music and the desire to do things right. He moved to Montreal as an adult to study jazz and make singing a career. After two EPs, Gingras asserts his stylistic independence. Tropical Apocalypse explores the possibility that the end of the world is a particularly hot one. It was therefore necessary to explore the music of the South: calypso, bossa, afro-rock, Hawaiian and Cuban music or even steel drums on punk-rock.
