From February 21 to March 4, the Embassy of the Dominican Republic, in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Foundation of the General Directorate of Customs and the Ministry of Tourism for the DR will present the ‘Modern and Contemporary Art in the Dominican Republic’ Art Exhibition for the 1st time. Opening February 21, 2020, this captivating exhibition features 30 paintings and mixed-media photos which reflect the Dominican’s dynamic culture, influenced by Iberian, African and West Indian heritages.

Featured at the exhibition will be the works of renowned Spanish artists Josep Gausachs and Eugenio Fernández Granell, among many others. The exhibition will be on display from February 21, 2020 to March 4, 2020 and is free to the general public.
