Events Description

Our 100,000-square foot bunker is the best place to enjoy some safe and physically distanced Halloween fun!

Come dressed in your favourite costume. Discover spooky (and cute) ghosts and monsters throughout the museum, and earn some treats (see details below).

The Diefenbunker offers plenty of open space to run around, and we will allow a maximum of 25 people per time slot. Over four floors and 100,000 square feet — that amounts to between 12 and 15 people per floor during your chosen time slot.

Treats: When children find the “treat” locations, one staff person will place a treat in their hands. There are a total of 3 treat stations within the Museum. Treats include candy, activities, and small toys.

The best way to get around underground is with a baby carrier. The government wasn’t thinking about navigating around in a stroller when they built the bunker back in the early 60s. If you bring a stroller, you will need to carry it up and down many stairs.

HOW MUCH

Tickets: By donation for parents, grandparents, or caregivers with kids. You must reserve your tickets in advance. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
