Events Description

This is a documentary about a group of friends and lifelong companions from a public deaf school in the last year of basic special education, facing their greatest fear: continue their education in “regular” classrooms. This reveals the fears, injustice and challenges faced by deaf students in Chile.

The World Documentary Tour 2020 is the first cultural event in the Capital of Canada that brings together several embassies regardless of their region or language, as well as representative cultural institutions of Ottawa, through a selection of documentaries directed by renowned filmmakers from various countries about contemporary themes.
This is an event co-organized by the Embassies of Mexico, Germany, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, France and Mexico, and Alliance Française Ottawa, Ottawa Public Library, UNAM-Canada and Carleton University.

Admission is free.
