Discover the origins and traditions of Halloween in this historical tour exploring the stories behind our modern-day Halloween beliefs and practices. Some of them are not what you think!
Tours run every 15 minutes and must be purchased in advance .
Please note this is a historical tour exploring Halloween customs, and while some origin stories are quite dark, this is not a frightful experience.

Venue:
Lang Pioneer Village Museum is located just 10 minutes east of Peterborough on the shores of the Historic Indian River.
From Peterborough:
Travel 10 km east of Peterborough on Highway 7, then south on County Road 34 (Heritage Line) for 6 km. Watch for the signs.
From Toronto:
Travel Highway 401 east to Highway 115/35 and follow north to Peterborough. Proceed along Highways 7 east to County Road 34 (Heritage Line) for 6 km. Watch for the signs.
