Be transported by Adizokan – a mix of dance, video, electro-acoustic and orchestra performed by Red Sky Performance featuring local dancers, throat-boxer Nelson Tagoona, and directed by Sandra Laronde.
Adizokan in Anishinaabemowin means “a spiritual being that carries wisdom and knowledge”. This wisdom is understood to reside in animals, rocks, trees, water, and the stars. Adizokan is a unique genre bending performance that shares Indigenous principles and connects young people to the natural world through dance and music featuring Indigenous artists and the musicians of the RSO.
