After surviving years of domestic violence at the hands of her beer-drinking, deer-poaching husband Kyle, Nan Carter is fed up. In this dark revenge comedy set in a rural Georgia home, Nan hatches an unorthodox plan to take a stand and teach her abuser a lesson. With Kyle gagged and bound to his recliner, Nan enlists the help of her best friend and cheerleader Simon and a Shakespeare-loving stripper named Sweetheart to re-enact scenes from the couple’s painful past and make a final, theatrical farewell, leaving her husband to face his misdeeds … and the inevitable arrival of hungry bears.
