Join Nature Regina, Nature Saskatchewan, and SaskOutdoors for the Get Outside! Kids Club, an outdoor education program for at home learners including homeschoolers, e-learners and distance learners from ages 6 to 13. Each Wednesday we explore a new park or open space with hands-on, nature-based activities.
July 28: We’ll be exploring the Wascana Lake Migratory Bird Sanctuary. We’ll start off with a traditional tipi (teepee) raising ceremony and find out more about its significance in Treaty 4. We’ll have an Indigenous drum making, insect spotting, bird feeder making, ponding dipping and a Turtle Talk.
