Events Description

JoyLab 2.0 is an all-new collection of curated experiences designed to provide Instagram-ready moments for visitors while discovering how simple things can bring about a feeling of joy. JoyLab 2.0 consists of several rooms that provide amazing photo backdrops for your friends and family. PLUS, you’ll get a chance to interact with some Science Centre favorites, including the Tornado Machine, the Bubble Pit, and more!

This safe and interactive exhibition encourages visitors to explore questions about joy and happiness, sparking a conversation about how the seemingly mundane spaces and objects we interact with everyday can affect our mood. The Science Centre exhibits and programming make it an excellent way to provide fun learning experiences for kids of all ages.

A Little Bit More Fun Before You Leave
Don’t leave without stopping at the Sphero Station, where you’ll get a chance to learn about coding with our incredible Go! Code Outreach Team and take control of a robot with your smart phone! You can download the required app (Download Here – Sphero Edu) to your smartphone before you arrive, or use one of our tablets (which are sanitized between uses).

On your way out, don’t forget to take a moment to stop at the Atom + Geek Science Shop for great toys, cuddly plush, and your favourite flavour of Astronaut Ice Cream!

Who is it for?

There is no charge for members of the Saskatchewan Science Centre! And pricing is only $9 for Adults, $8 for Teens, and $7 for Children and Seniors. Future scientists 2 years of age and under are free.
