Events Description

At every Government House Victorian Tea weekend there is a Collectibles Sale which has unique items for purchase at affordable prices. Every item in the sale is donated to the Government House Historical Society (GHHS). The money made supports the activities of the Government House Historical Society.

There is always a treasure trove of collectibles and vintage items for you to search through. Many items are one-of-a-kind, and hard to find. Whatever you fancy, we probably have it whether it be jewelry, glassware, china, silverware, seasonal items, crystal, fashion items and household items. You never know what you may find.

We appreciate the generosity of our members, volunteers, and the public, who donate items to GHHS. We give tax receipts for all items except teacups and most doilies. Our jewelry table is one of the favorites with customers. If you wish to donate some of your old jewelry, including costume jewelry, it will be well received!

If you wish to donate to items to GHHS, please contact Iris Sirke, at 306-539-3644, or by email at isirke@accesscomm.ca

When purchasing, you can pay with cash or by debit card.

Our next Vintage and Collectibles Sale is on April 4th and 5th, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm. We will have a variety of items, such as china, crystal, silver, jewelry, ornaments, and pictures. All items are donated, in excellent condition, and beautifully displayed. Monies earned go to support programs in the Government House Museum. While at the sale, enjoy a walk through the museum to learn more about the Government House.
