Expert birders identify most birds in any habitat using song identification. Some birds can only be safely identified by voice. You can learn to identify bird songs too!

Join a small group of birders practicing their bird song identification skills while walking around Saskatoon’s President Murray Park during the early morning. Participants may also join a previous online session reviewing the common bird songs we expect to find during this walk.

Target Species: Merlin; Ruby-crowned Kinglet; Red-breasted Nuthatch, Black-capped Chickadee, White-winged and Red Crossbills; Dark-eyed Junco; Yellow-rumped Warbler.

Tickets: $35

Masks required to be worn during the walk. Number of Participants on walk restricted by Saskatchewan Covid Regulations for outdoor groups.
