Events Description

Coleman Hell’s rise to success has been an exciting one to watch. His debut LP Summerland achieved gold status, spawned two multi-platinum singles and earned him two Juno nominations, several MMVA nominations, a Socan songwriting award, and many additional accolades. His breakthrough single “2 Heads” went Top 10 at 4 different Canadian radio formats. It is currently 4x Platinum in Canada, Gold in the US, and has exceeded 100 million streams on Spotify. Coleman is currently finishing up his sophomore album, which is set to release this Summer.

Alex Bent – Alex Bent + the Emptiness is the recording and performing alt-pop/R&B solo project of Saskatoon singer Alex Bent. Likened to that of hip-hop/R&B artists Post Malone, Joji and Frank Ocean, Bent mixes his own twist of nostalgia with the current trends of the genre.

His debut EP, Vanilla Blue, has been streamed over 60,000 times on Spotify and was voted #6 on SaskMusic’s Best Saskatchewan Albums of 2018 List. The EP has also received significant press from outlets such as Earmilk and Hip Hop Canada.

Bent’s new album, Baby, premiered on Exclaim in August 2019. The album was mastered by Trevor Case of Case Mastering (Kelly Clarkson, Missy Elliot) and features contributions from Brockhampton affiliates singer-songwriter Jack Larsen and producer Connor Barkhouse as well as Samurai Champs’ Merv xx

Gotti and Jeah – Alex Bent + the Emptiness has been an active live act since 2016 playing opening slots for Phantogram and Cub Sport, as well as being featured at Canadian Music Week and NXNE in Toronto, ON in Spring 2019. With a western Canadian tour currently in the works for fall 2019, Bent plans to spend the year touring in support of his debut album.
