Events Description
An alternative Halloween—just like the real thing but on a different date and with more to do!
The Kate Andrus Pumpkin Prowl starts at Belview Park where kids come in costume to play games like Body Part Hockey and Pumpkin Bowling, bounce on bouncy castles, sip hot chocolate from Gage Park Diner, and do activities with vendors including Beautiful Alleys, Pride Hamilton, Sherman Boys and Girls Club, Messy Play Studio, My Free Hamilton, Erich’s Cupboard, Determination Martial Arts, Hammer City Roller Derby, WrapAround Hamilton, Shalem Mental Health Network, Holiday Wish Hamilton, and Mountain Kidz Club.
After the games and activities, the kids go trick-or-treating to neighbourhood homes who have agreed to hand out candy.
This event was created for families who are not able to go trick-or-treating together on the real Halloween due to work of parenting schedules, but is open to all families! The more kids the more fun it is! This year we anticipate over 300 kids.
Get your costumes ready because on Friday October 18th it\’s time to prowl!
