Annual Markham Earth Hour Lantern Walk

The 6th Annual Earth Hour Lantern Walk is happening on Saturday, March 30 at Cornell Community Centre. Come for fun kids activities, learn about sustainability & enjoy some hot chocolate. Please bring a lantern! #Connect2Earth

Come early at 7:15pm, for some fun kids activities and learn about community resources from the Markham Library, Sports & Recreation, Sustainability, Emergency Preparedness, Ward 5, Markham Museum and the Cornell Residents Association and Keep Cornell Beautiful.

At 8:10pm, we will kick off the lantern walk with a few words from Ward 5 Councillor Andrew Keyes and afterwards stick around to enjoy somehot chocolate and treats.
