Comedy Nuggets presents the Best Damn Stand-Up Comedy Show for an amazing night of laughs!

Every month Luke Lynndale assembles an amazing lineup by inviting three headliners. The show is always hilarious, thought provoking, and silly.

Luke is a Toronto-based, comedian performing stand-up, improv and sketch. He has performed in Comedy Brawl (2017, 2018), Comedian of the North (2019), the Boston Improv Festival (2018), Big City Improv Festival (2013, 2017), World’s Biggest Improv Festival (2016, 2017, 2018), and Best of Toronto Sketch (2018). He is a founding member of DUO DAD (2013-present).

Join us on The Danforth at the Social Capital Theatre’s cozy 2nd floor.

Here is a little about each of the performers in the show.

Buckle up! Liam is a fast talking romp through the crowd, taking what comes his way and spinning it into comedy. Over a 20 year career Liam has done it all: sketch, improv, street theatre and corporate work and uses those experiences to create a memorable night of laughter on the spot. Liam has worked with Yuk Yuks and the Second City, has entertained the employees of Microsoft, Bell and Shaw Cable, and began his career as a radio broadcaster at age 18.

Cathy Boyd has headlined the Maine Comedy Festival in September of 2017 and performed at the Portland, Maine Comedy Festival in July, 2018. Cathy was 1 of 5 finalists in the 5th Annual Absolute Comedy Prove You’re a Comic Competition. Cathy was invited to appear at The Best of Absolute Comedy in September, 2018, as part of Toronto’s annual comedy festival, JFL42 and showcased for the 2019 Winnipeg Comedy Festival. Cathy started 2019 off by competing in and finishing in first place in the Comedian of the North Competition held annually in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Foad is a comic, actor and writer. He has been featured at Just for Laughs, Kevin Hart\\\’s LOL Network, CBC Radio, and was the winner of the Toronto Comedy Brawl. He was written for this hour has 22 Minutes, and made guest appearances on Nikita and American Gods.

There is street parking along Danforth Avenue, as well as a Green P parking lot located one block north. To access the Green P parking lot, drive north on Broadview Avenue to Erindale, then turn right.
