Blooms and Bubbles

Celebrate spring and all things that grow local at Conservation Halton’s newest event, Blooms and Bubbles! Sip and stroll at Area 8 (formerly Kelso Quarry) as you browse the local vendor market while enjoying a glass of wine, mead, and other bubbly treats.

For kids and adults alike, there is no shortage of things to do at Blooms & Bubbles! Enjoy live music on the shores of the turquoise quarry lake. You’ll be wowed by some of the unique performers like Miss T the Bubble Queen and Enviro Drum, a percussion group that will have everyone joining in the fun! You can add even more to your experience and sign up for archery, craft time, or make your very own native seed ball!

Choose from bubbly beverages like wine, mead, kombucha, and other bubbly treats, then head over to the marketplace and peruse local vendors ranging from crafts and artisanal goods, to plants and flowers. Make sure to stop by the Conservation Halton booths to chat with our team of experts about the effects of invasive plant species to our native pollinators, and what you can do to make your garden healthy and sustainable for the environment. After visiting the marketplace, treat yourself to snacks and tasty sweets, and settle at a picnic table taking in the beautiful views of the park.
