Events Description

Come join us this Canada Day evening for a hilarious and unique comedy and magic event! We are featuring the Xpectaculo act, a silent comedian and mime act. This is one comedy show that you have never seen before!

Not only that, we are featuring several professional comedians for your entertainment. Finally, local magician Kensington Ken will hit the stage to show you his latest magic tricks!

Your performers are:

Xpectaculo: You’ve seen comedy before, but you’ve never seen comedy like this! These two silent comics will make you laugh and cheer without saying a single word! They’ve performed all over the world at festivals and packed stages, and tonight they’re here at the Royal Comedy Theatre stage. Don’t miss out!

Al Val: Al is a comedian, actor, writer and musician who has appeared on programs for CBC, One, OutTV, MTV, and YTV. Al has headlined shows all across North America, as well as having appeared at JFL NorthWest, Zoofest, Laughfest, the San Francisco Comedy Festival and many more.

Janice Israeloff: Janice has been performing live theatre and comedy shows since the 80s and 90s, and now we’re lucky enough to have her on our show! She’s performed at sold out shows at Yuk Yuk’s, Absolute Comedy, The Underground Comedy Club, all while touring all over the US and UK.

Evan Dubois: Evan considers himself a witty ginger with a guitar. He’s been featured many times at Yuk Yuks Toronto, and runs his own comedy show “The Banana Room”. With his mix of stories, observations and songs, there is always something for everyone!

Kensington Ken: Your friendly neighbourhood magician, he’s amassed well over 10 million views on TikTok. Ken actually gets his magic from Wish, so they sometimes malfunction to hilarious results. You’ll laugh, cheer, and you might even be amazed!

It will be an amazing night, and a great way to kick off your Canada Day celebrations! Best of all, the show will be done with plenty of time to catch the fireworks after. See you there!
