Events Description

City Hall Live returns to Nathan Phillips Square with lunch-time concerts from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, from June 5.
City Hall Live was launched by the City of Toronto to create more paid live music opportunities for the city‘s vibrant and varied talent. Since 2016, this free concert series provided performance opportunities for 70 bands and groups and was attended by approximately 24,000 people. Most of the program expenses, such as artist fees and production costs, are generously supported by TD Bank Group in partnership with Music Canada.
The first show of the season features Alexis Baro, an accomplished jazz trumpeter who has performed all around the world, appeared in over 60 albums, and worked with dozens of notable artists. He was recently nominated for the 2019 Jazz Album of the Year Juno.
