On Saturday August 17th beer and cider lovers are in for a treat. The Collingwood Brewery will be hosting Beer Fest, where a dozen craft breweries and cideries as well as 500+ guests will gather at its brewery in Collingwood, Ontario.
The premiere beer festival in the South Georgian Bay area, Beer Fest is celebrating its 3rd year. “This year’s Beer Fest is going to be better than ever,” says Chris Freeman, Head Brewer and General Manager at The Collingwood Brewery. “We have an all-star line-up of breweries and cideries, delicious food and great live music.”
Running from 11am to 8pm, Beer Fest features food by Oliver & Bonacini and live music from What’s What and Coming of Age, as well as face painting and balloon twisting for kids in the afternoon. Bring the whole family!
Beer Fest is a chance for beer and cider aficionados to sample choice craft beverages from the best breweries and cideries in the area, including: Black Bellows Brewing, The Collingwood Brewery, Creemore, Duxbury Cider, Maclean’s Ales, Muskoka Brewery, Northwinds Brewery, Side Launch Brewing, Georgian Hills, Thornbury Village Craft Cider & Beer, and Wasaga Beach Brewing.
The Collingwood Brewery team encourages those living in the area to walk or cycle to the festival being held in central Collingwood at their facility, 10 Sandford Fleming Drive, close by Collingwood bike paths. Tickets are $25 all-in and include an 8oz Mason glass, yours to keep, and 4 tokens for 4oz beer samples. Additional tokens are $1.50 each.
