At the beginning of the 20th century, the Qing Dynasty stood in a very precarious and doubtful situation. Three strangers met during their most desperate circumstance then became sworn bothers to ride the crest of future success. However, the three brothers have very different personalities and behaviors, to women, to business, and to each other.

There was drama and conflict all over the new Dong-an Market on Wang-fu-jing Street; conflicts of interests which lead to a betrayal between the brothers, and there was one woman who was associated with the three brothers.

In this turbulent time, temptation and ambition are glutted with people’s lives. Where will this desire lead us to? How will this brotherhood end? And what happened in Dong-an Market?
