Hey folks! Wild Ones Wilderness is going on another hike on Saturday September 19th. We will be hiking along the Don River. With the changing of the seasons it should prove to be a great hike!
We teach wild edible and medicinal plants, flora and fauna identification, wilderness survival tips, trail etiquette, biodiversity and ecological impact, local and aboriginal history(where applies), and much more!
DUE TO THE CURRENT CRISIS:
-We ask that you wear a mask and gloves, however if it not possible we can provide a limited amount of PPE to participants that are lacking.of such equipment
-Due to current stipulations from the municipal and provincial government along side with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, we stress that you please get in contact with us to sign up so there are no empty available spots on the hike while we are practicing social distancing at this time and we are limited by group sizes.
-We are trying our best to provide outdoor education to the public in a safe and responsible manner while still trying to bring some fun and sense of community in these trying times.
THINGS TO CONSIDER:
-We suggest to bring sturdy footwear.
-Bring water (or other hydration)
-We suggest to bring a snack or small lunch
-Light, breathable clothing and layers is suggested
-We go out RAIN, OR SHINE
-PLEASE call ahead to confirm with us to avoid confusion
-We are NOT currently allowing children on our hikes

COST = Sliding Scale 10$-20+$ per person

(Unfortunately we do not currently have the systems in place for other electronic payment)
