Shake off the winter blues and celebrate winter, family and fun in the heart of the Don Valley! Celebrate with tasty food from local vendors, skating around the rink, joining in on a site tour and playing in the Children’s Garden.
Bring your loved ones and enjoy a family-friendly mix of both indoor and outdoor activities.
Inspired by James Gladstone’s book “My Winter City” (illustrated by Gary Clement), and adapting Small Print Toronto’s acclaimed Mouse City program, Mouse Winter City invites aspiring city-builders aged 4 to 12 to tell their stories about what it means to love their city in the heart of winter. Participants will be able to build using recyclable materials provided and write in the fictional newspaper, “Mouse City Times”, to share their stories!
