Events Description
Let your mind grow at the Gardens! We offer over 200 courses and workshops for families, kids, and adults in the areas of gardening, nature, botanical arts, and wellness.
GOING BATTY, Saturday, September 11 | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Explore RBG after hours with our resident nature experts to discover the fascinating world of bats. This evening walk and talk will start with our experienced nature guides speaking about the different bat species that live in the gardens, their behaviours and why RBG offers them a great habitat. You will also learn about other animal species, birds and insects that call RBG home. Location: Arboretum
NATURE ROCKS, Saturday, September 25 | 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Nature is your canvas with this art-themed family event! Join us for a hike through the woods as we learn about the rocks and minerals beneath our feet, then use that knowledge to create a pocket painting inspired by RBG’s natural landscape using a mix of conventional paints and natural pigments.
