Events Description
Not every hero wears a cape…but at the RHFES Fire Prevention Week Open House you can learn how YOU can be a hero in your home!
At the Open House, residents of all ages will learn many other important fire prevention tips including how smoke and carbon monoxide alarms save lives. They’ll also be able to experience what it’s like to be a firefighter by sitting in a fire truck, watching auto extrication demonstrations, and driving a fire truck in a simulator.
In celebration of the week’s importance, there will also be live entertainment, games and prizes, as well as a pancake breakfast and barbecue to enjoy (for a nominal fee while quantities last). Admission is free!
