Food Court Social in support of the George Brown College Foundation

Fast becoming one of Toronto’s most prestigious gourmet events, the George Brown College Foundation’s annual Food Court Social returns to George Brown College’s Waterfront Campus on September 26, 2019. This star-studded culinary affair brings together 15 of Toronto’s top chefs and culinary artists in support of students with mental health and addiction challenges attending George Brown’s Augmented Education program (Aug Ed).

The Food Court Social features dishes created by great chefs from the city’s best Restaurants, including: Chef John Higgins of The Chef’s House, Chef Donna Dooher of Mildred’s Temple Kitchen, Chef Ivana Raca of Ufficio, Chef Alida Solomon of Tutti Matti, Chef Nick Liu of Dailo, Chef Amira Becarevic of Mira, Chef Matt Basile of Fidel Gastro’s, Chef John Cirillo of Cirillo’s Academy, Chef Rob Gentile of Buca, Chef Roberto Marotta of Ardo Restaurant, Chef Rupert Martin of Joey Restaurants, Chef Alanna Fleischer and Chef Brian Cheng of The Edible Story, Chef Cameron Pounder of FeasTO, Chef Ashley Jacot De Boinod of Glory Hole Donuts, Lolita Richards of Made by Moi, and the students from the Augmented Education program.

As a unique and delicious twist, this year’s Food Court Social is themed “World Fare” and features dishes inspired by cuisine from across the globe. Guests will not only enjoy amazing food, but also sample an incredible selection of beer and wine, as well as enjoy live music, and have access to an expansive silent auction.
