Famous Canadian Beer Run

Start with a fun run through Ontario Place with views of the lake and city skyline, on-course entertainment and our very own “Brew Crew” cheering you on!

Take in stunning views of the city and Lake Ontario as you take a tour of Ontario Place’s East and West Islands. This closed-to-traffic route is run on wide, paved paths and is mostly flat with a few short hills and a pedestrian bridge crossing. There is one water station on course.

Cross the finish line into our Craft Beer & Food Festival where you and a few thousand of your new best friends will sample the finest Canadian craft beers, nosh on food from Toronto’s most in-demand food trucks and take in live entertainment.

Run participants enjoy a scenic 5-kilometre fun run or walk through Ontario Place which features stunning views of Lake Ontario and the city skyline.

Upon completion of the run, participants cross the finish line into the heart of a craft beer and food festival where they receive a custom beer stein and four beverage tokens (good for four samples or two full drinks from any of the on-site beverage partners). A live band plays all afternoon long while participants enjoy the finish line festivities.

The finish line festival features three gluten free beverage options for participants to enjoy. Quebec-based Glutenberg returns to the event for the second year to sample their popular gluten free beer. SoCIAL LITE Vodka, a long-time partner of the event, will feature their range of tasty vodka cocktails with flavours like: Pineapple Mango, Grapefruit Pomelo and their new line of spiked iced teas. Crisp cider is also on offer from Niagara-on-the-Lake’s Shiny Apple Cider.

Another exciting addition to this year’s festival is Toronto’s Queen Arepafood truck. This 100% gluten free truck serves up delicious Venezuelan street food in the form of savoury arepas. Arepas are corn-based bread pockets stuffed with fillings like slow-cooked marinated beef, shredded chicken or vegetarian black bean, plantain and fresco cheese. Queen Arepa will join other food truck vendors serving up post-run snacks
