Events Description

For the fifth year, one million sunflowers have been planted to beautify the Lakeview Village site undergoing construction and remediation, delivering a shared experience that would delight and encourage the community to get outdoors. This summer, the sunflowers return to Lakeview Village amidst various works of public art.

Lakeview Village is a mixed-use waterfront community being developed in Mississauga combining diverse high-quality housing options for all lifestyles and life stages, with thriving retail and restaurants as well as trails, parks, green space, and cultural and recreational amenities – all connected to transit and the nearby 64-acre Jim Tovey Lakeview Conservation Area.

You can see the sunflowers starting July 27 for about 3 to 4 weeks (weather dependent.)

Venue:

800 Hydro Rd., located near the Waterfront Trail (at the corner of Lakeshore & Hydro Rd) and by the Lakeview Village Sunflower Deck.

No parking available on site for those arriving by car.
Bike parking is available at the Sunflower Deck and at Lakeshore and Hydro Rd. near the future Discovery Centre.
