inviting customers to enjoy a Free Slice of one of their gourmet pizzas at any of their 40 GTA locations to celebrate their 19th Anniversary. Pizzaiolo, was founded in 2000 by Chief Pizza Maker, Luigi Petrella, a 3rd generation “Pizzaiolo” (Pizza Maker). His grandparents had a restaurant in Montorio, Italy. Later his parents came to Canada in the 1960s and opened their pizzeria in North Toronto.
“We have recently rebranded and renovated many of our locations, so we felt our 19 th Anniversary would be a great opportunity to thank our loyal customers with a Free gourmet slice”, said Ron Craig, COO Pizzaiolo.
Pizzaiolo also announced they will partner with Feed Ontario to raise funds to help address hunger in our
province and support the half million people who access food banks located throughout the GTA and across Ontario annually. Every $1 raised will provide the equivalent of three meals to someone facing hunger.
