Events Description

Our mindfulness meditation group meets every Monday at 6:00PM. Our approach brings together the modern, secular mindfulness techniques and research, as well as the perspectives of the ancient contemplative traditions from East and West.

These sessions are open to everyone: we welcome all religious and ethnic backgrounds, and gender identities and expressions. We respect all spiritual types and sensibilities, from those who simply want to achieve deep relaxation, manage stress, anxiety, and depression, to those who walk the path of spiritual growth. You decide what the meaning of your meditation is.

All levels are welcome. This is a judgment-free, non-competitive environment. You can either sit on a chair or on a meditation cushion. The guided part ends at 7:00 but the space will be open until 8:00 for those who arrive late, wish to continue meditating on their own, or would like to share complimentary healthy snacks and beverages as we talk about our experience.


What to bring

Stretchy or loose pants if you will sit in lotus position. There are individual washrooms with chairs if you need to change clothes.

Important to know

Strong perfumes can make some people sick, and strong body odours can be very unpleasant and distracting. Let’s be considerate and make this a scent-neutral space.

Tickets : Free

There is no cost for this event but donations (minimum $5 suggested) are greatly appreciated. This allows us to offer this program to everyone regardless of their current financial situation
