Events Description
Open Streets programs take place in cities around the world, usually on Sunday mornings and typically last for about 4-6 hours. Participants can bike, run, rollerblade, hopscotch, do yoga, skateboard, unicycle … you get the picture.
Get active – We’re all supposed to get at least 2.5 hours of exercise per week, but many of us struggle to find good outdoor spots to do it. Open Streets TO brings new, meaningful opportunities for outdoor exercise to Toronto.
Build the City – Open Streets programs have a track record of promoting tourism, generating jobs, improving air quality and promoting a sense of civic participation. Let’s do it in TO!
