About Il Trovatore
Verdi’s iconic tale centres on a headstrong heroine Leonora, her rivalling love interests (Manrico and the Conte di Luna), and Azucena, a grief-stricken mother who holds the key to a story of vengeance and secret identities. The opera will be sung in the original Italian with The Divas’ own contemporary English translation projected as surtitles.
