Events Description

Pierogi are a core part of Polish cuisine – and where better to explore their huge variety than on the 1st Pierogi Festival in Mississauga!

On July 14th, 2019 John Paul II Cultural Centre will be filled with delicious smells of myriad fillings: fills with delicious smells of myriad fillings: meat with fried onion, spinach, sweet cream cheese, blueberries and any other delicacies the summer has on offer.

There will be a large variety of stands, so take care not to overeat! The festival competition this year is searching for best traditional – stuffed with potatoes and cheese pierogis. The jury assesses traditional with the best receiving the coveted statuette of Golden Pierogi Statuette. Besides delicious pierogis, festival-goers will also enjoy a range of performers and bands playing various music styles. We are looking forward to see you all there!
