Events Description

Naeem Mohaieman’s film Tripoli Cancelled at The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery follows a week in the life of a man who is trapped living at an airport for a decade. How would you feel if you were stuck somewhere? What would you need? In this workshop, we will use travel-size objects to invent our own survival device that combines the tools and materials that bring us comfort.

Power Kids is a free and collaborative art-making workshop. It is for children ages 7-12 and their adult companions. Adults must remain with their children throughout these programs.

• Each session is capped at 36 participants and registration is strongly recommended as spaces fill up
• Any spaces that have been reserved but not claimed by 3:10 PM will be released to drop-in participants
