National youth-education charity, Ripple Foundation, is encouraging budding young writers to submit their short stories to its annual, Canada-wide Kids Write 4 Kids writing contest from October 1st, for a chance to become published authors.
The Kids Write 4 Kids (KW4K) writing contest is now in its ninth year. It’s the only competition of its kind that gives youth in grades 4-8 the opportunity to have their work printed in paperback and eBook format on Amazon, Google Play, iBookstore and Overdrive.
Young Canadian writers will have the chance to submit their creative writing masterpieces between October 1st, 2020 – March 31, 2021.
Once all entries are in, a panel of accomplished Canadian authors, editors and previous contest winners will decide who takes the 2021 KW4K contest crown, announced in June 2021. All net proceeds from the winning story’s book sales will benefit a charity or organization of the winner’s choice.
